High quality recycled brass products are directly prepared from scrap copper, which not only solves the problems of insufficient resource supply and comprehensive utilization of "urban minerals", but also provides the society with high-precision environmental protection copper alloy materials, which has good economic benefits and social effects of energy conservation and emission reduction. However, in the research and development process of using scrap copper as raw material to directly manufacture brass alloy products, there are technologies of removing non-metallic particles from copper containing waste and fine classification of impurity particles, melt composition control technology in alloying process with pretreated scrap copper as raw material, deformation behavior and mechanical property control technology of copper alloy in the process of plastic deformation And other problems need to be solved. In recent years, our company has been carrying out basic research on common technologies in the field of green production and quality guaranteed manufacturing of scrap copper. In 2013, the project of "research and application of key technologies for green and quality guaranteed recycling manufacturing of scrap copper resources" was approved by Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau and listed as a key scientific and technological research project in Ningbo. During the implementation of the project, the company carried out relevant research and trial production in strict accordance with the project tasks and objectives, and allocated the required resources. After two years of implementation, all indicators have been achieved. On September 18, 2015, Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau organized experts to review the project. The expert group listened to the project implementation summary report and reviewed the relevant information. After inquiry and discussion, the expert group agreed that the project had completed the task requirements specified in the contract and agreed to pass the acceptance.
Through the implementation of the project, the company has carried out research on the key technologies of green and quality guaranteed recycling manufacturing of waste copper resources, and developed advanced technology and equipment, which effectively guaranteed the improvement of product quality, further improved the company's equipment automation level, and accelerated the process of "machine replacement". As an important part of strategic emerging industries, the comprehensive utilization of resources is of great significance. The project is in line with the national industrial policy.
